Seher does not want anyone to touch her things and claims that Husna has no authority to kick her out. She makes them remember that Dada Hozur was unhealthy, presenting his medical report that he still has the blood clots on his head and should not get any kind of shock.
However, Husna does not want to trust Seher. She wonders how Seher can read English considering that she only studied the Quran. This brings about suspicion in the house.
Kausar believes that it is high time the truth surfaced and Seher would no longer need to be there.

Emotional Scene in the Grave of Gazal by Mahid

Meanwhile, Mahid goes to the grave of Gazal and sympathizes with him. He tells him that he had vowed never to come back when Seher entered his life, but he now feels Gazal does not want to see him happy.
He identifies Seher with his mother, and he is extremely lonely. Mahid recalls the previous allegations of Gazal and how she committed suicide in solitude, abandoning him.
This emotional scene demonstrates the inner struggle and uncomposed grief of Mahid.

Seher lies to save herself

At home, Seher deceives Husna, telling her that a postman had read her the medical report and that is how she had gotten to know about it. Husna still does not trust her and tells Nazima to dispose of the belongings of Seher.
Kausar encourages Seher to go and use this moment to run away, but Seher does not. She tells Kausar that she had given Mahid that promise that she would not leave her, and this surprises him that she is so loyal.

On his way, Mahid observes a group of men who are attempting to separate a child from his mother. The desperate lady pleads with them to cease. Mahid intervenes and comes to their defense.
Niyaz overhears the conversation and anticipates that Mahid will lose his temper and cause more trouble in the future.

Mahid surprises all by indicating that he knew that and requested Seher to behave in that manner. He hides her reality and shields her.
Upon hearing of the commotion, Dada Hozur inquires about the reason behind the commotion. Mahid intelligently tells him that Nazima had packed her bags early in their honeymoon and they were going to leave the following day.
This spares Seher the indignity of being thrown out.
